Is there an episode of Dogtanian where he lops the wings off a bat?

I have this upsetting memory of an episode of Dogtanian where he arrives on an island or something and is attacked by a bat, so in self defence he swiftly lops both its wings off with his sword, and the bat is seen looking at the stumps and then pathetically hobbling off into the forest. It's the last bit I found particularly upsetting. Maybe it wasn't Dogtanian himself who did this but another character. Anyway, this ring any bells for anyone or has me mind mixed things up 35 or so years later?

Are you sure you're not confusing it with His Dark Materials and the bit where Mrs Coulter's monkey rips the wings off a bat and eats it?

Definitely not Im afraid, as this was ages ago, a really old memory. Plus the bat hobbling swag newly crippled at the end is key to the horror of the moment. Thanks for the suggestion tho.

Reminds me of that episode of Tintin where he just spends 20 minutes pulling the wings of Butterflies and chuckling. And then at the end, he does a moth and suddenly is overcome with remorse?

It was one of Cardinal Richelieu's spies, not Dogtanian. Pretty brutal though: https://youtu.be/ulb0W0iJItE?t=1066

Thanks so much for finding this so quickly. It's horrible: properly traumatised me at the time. I think it's the fact that the bat is drawn pretty cute and we see it scurrying off. Also the fact it exists in the same world as an anthropomorphic mouse as seen in the scene before must suggest the bat is as sentient as any other character and thus fully conscious of how much it's been mutilated?

bats cant run about like that. they crawl about with their arms/wings. anyway a fox is going to eat it in like five minutes.

My overriding memory of Dogtanian was of him chopping up hats rather than bats. Proper duel to the death and at the end, instead of landing the death blow he'd just flip the bad guy's hat off and chop it to ribbons. This may be a false memory, but it's how I always picture him, chopping up arseholes' hats.

Pseudopath

Yeah...that was his thing. He chops an apple into floaty slices in the opening titles. Bit of a prick, to be honest.

Dunno about the bat thing but there's definitely an episode where it's strongly hinted he fucks a dog.

Why the fuck the cunt kill a bat?! What's a bat going to do. Bet he listens to hunting podcasts and Joe Rogan

I've never been able to forget the episode where he raeped a pangolin.

He IS a dog though, that's not so dreadful is it?

Incidentally I WhatsApped my mum a picture of a plant I got recently, a Pothos, and she quipped back "Where's Dogtanian?", which I enjoyed once I'd looked up the Wikipedia page to remind myself what she was on about.

is there any furry porn where dogtanian and the muskehounds gangbang Albert the Fifth Musketeer

if not are anyone's commissions open

I hated Albert (the character more than the show). Wasn't he always firing spag bol out of a blunderbuss? He's french, should at least have been moules mariniere.

This is why I preferred Grandad, always firing Emperor burgers out of his blunderbuss.

I think I liked that as a kid until I clocked how insanely repetitive it was. The premise of every episode was pretty much exactly the same. Occasionally the theme music gets stuck in my head as well.

Wait, there's a Dogtanian film out in cinemas right now? And it seems to retain the low animation
standards and crammed in dubbed English over foreign dialogue of the original? Well worth catching a dose of cine-Covid for.
