Watched this last night - it's now on Sky Documentaries / Now TV.

Agree with the others that the analysis of how it fitted into the wider culture and society is a bit superficial. Some attempts at this were more throwing out buzzwords than giving you a deeper understanding.

Promoter John Scher really does not come out of it well, blaming victims of sexual assault, blaming MTV for negatively reporting what happened (when presumably they had paid a lot to be there so wouldn't gain from doing it down) and blaming acts he had booked and presumably seen for inflaming things. He seems clueless about how his choices in organising the festival would have consequences. Voted promoter of the year the following year apparently.

Was a bit prejudice confirming when it came to nu-metal and American frat boys...
