Any Roger Daltrey enthusiasts feel like interacting with a Gary Glitter uberfan?

It's highly likely that many years ago I created a thread here looking for info on an 80s kids TV show 'How To Be Cool'. If you're a big fan of Gary (or worse still, Roger Daltrey) you may too find much to enjoy in this confusing televisual artifact.

Just 3 episodes were made and aired and it was promptly erased from history and collective remembrance. I noticed a while back that someone upped the title sequence on yt but nothing else showed up until lately when two whole episodes* magically appeared on the highly suspect/delusional 'Gary Glitter's Rock'n'RollJukebox': https://youtube.com/user/paulkirk1962 (including among many others a clip of GG on Children In Need, brrrrrr).

My specific interest in the programme is wanting to see what may for all I know be a 5 second scene with Nik Fiend of Alien Sex Fiend, which seems to be in the first episode. I've wanted to see it for maybe 30 years and I would do anything for love but I won't do that, i.e. interact publicly with a deranged Glitter fan to request they upload the missing episode that they vaguely promised three months ago in the comments section here: https://youtu.be/XEnAVZC0jBs

Until they source it I'll continue to occasionally F5 the channel and torpedo (with the emphasis on the 2nd and 3rd syllables) my yt algorithm with increasingly creepy viewing suggestions.

*Which are spectacularly unwatchable, for an impressive variety of reasons

Shit Good Nose

Wow, that How To Be Cool is something else.  GG comes across like he's only just discovered language and emotion and hasn't figured out how to use them yet.

Freddie Jones too!

Quote.. we DO NOT condone the crimes we DO celebrate the music.

Good to know.

Pretty sure his music continues to sell quite well.  Take from that what you will.

Apart from hearing one of Glitter's tracks in Joker, I've never listened to his music. I think I would find it too hard to separate the art from the artist in his case. Am I missing much? Any fans of Glitter's music on here?

The subject title should have reflected this nugget!

It's not really Glitter's art/music though - he was the front. Mike Leander was the driving force, both in terms of creating Glitter as a star and the formulation of The Glitter Band (which started as Glitter's band and split off as an separate entity). The latter also deserve a lot of credit, particularly John Rossall, whose recent album, The Last Glam in Town, is rather good (and features contributions by Rob and Fliss from The Nightingales). Although Gadd/Glitter is credited on song-writing credits, it's genuinely believed that his input was minimal to zero.

His character is 'The Graffiti Kid' (despite being in his 30s at the time) so I've always imagined him painting some mad Fiendy painting on a wall while calling out Glitter as a nonce and Daltrey for his contradictory views on Brexit.

Ha, didn't spot that! Although I guess they couldn't say they condone the crimes but NOT the music.

This track by the Glitter Band is awesome, IMO.
