and other ainchent sites.

anyone else remember this? maybe from 20 years ago. documentary about ainchent ritual and burial grounds, maybe on bbc or channel 4?

talking about the polished insides of the henge, and also looking at tuned resonant chambers in old burial grounds

WhoMe

Remember watching this with a mate about 10 years ago when he was researching something. I've asked him if he still has a link to it. Those tuned resonances are mind blowing. Wasn't it so the wind would create deep tones or something?

Cheers for finding this, btw, sounds fascinating.

Pranet

One saw someone blowing various horns stood on top of Silbury Hill while other serious looking people standing in the car park below recorded him and took notes. It was some sort of experiment they claimed. It was hilarious somehow.

Nice one.
It is fascinating. The field of study is Archaeoacoustics, brings a new dimension to many of these ancient structures.

Reminds me of paleo-oncology, the stufy of tumours found in mummified human remains and the like:

This sounds pretty interesting too, might check the documentary out. Cheers!
