The tv series of the much loved film seems to be quite divisive and I wasn't a huge fan of the first season, but then really enjoyed the second and thought it was a big improvement. And now it's back for a third, following straight on from the events of the season 2 finale and they've locked up Guillermo and can't quite decide his fate, it was packed full of strong gags, Matt Berry's really settled in to the role now and feels a lot less actorly, the doll version of Nadja is adorable, the four way hypnotism bit was very silly but very funny, and well, I liked pretty much everything about it really.

Mr Attila is a big fan of the witch's skin hat , so it always gets a laugh out of him, even when mentioned in passing.

Thought the second season was much stronger than the first, think I might do a rewatch before diving in to this.

Oddly I didn't like the first appearance of the hat, that nightclub episode from the first season is the show at it's weakest for me, but then I loved the second episode it was in and any mention always gets a smile from me now.

There's no news on that front just yet, but I'd be surprised if it isn't unless Sky are still doing that annoying thing of buying up anything that's successful so that only 17 people can then watch it.

Spoilers because I'm a bit negative, which might be a downer.

Jermaine Clement has stepped back on production duties on this series and possibly I'm projecting, but it does like it's drifted a bit. Loved the second series, but this doesn't feel like this has the imagination or the drive so far, although it's only two eps in, so a bit early to judge.

A spin-off to Jermaine Clement and Taika Waititi’s film of the same name, What We Do in the Shadows’ upcoming series will find a home on BBC Two in the UK and while an official airdate has not yet been confirmed, there’s a lot to look forward to judging by star Harvey Guillén’s recent comments.

Wasn’t the last series on the Fox channel here before it found its way to the BBC?

The second ep with Novak doing impressions of everyone made me laugh a lot.

I sort of see where you're coming from, at least when it came to the third episode and I didn't really gel with the plotline about Nandor dating Gail at all and even found it a little irritating at times, while Colin Robertson and Lazlo's antics only raised the occasional smile. But then I thought the fourth was a real return to form and their casino antics, and Guillermo's dash around the world was superb stuff.

Think very regularly of the way Nandoor delightedly exclaims

It's Colin ROBINSON (apparently, né Rubinstein). But it's an easy mistake, as they almost never say his surname in the show.
