Hello. I have a column in google sheets. Each cell contains the word "Yes", "No" or "Don't Know".

How do I get the stupid fucking thing to count all the Yeses?

If it was numbers, I could just do =SUM(B1:B50), but I don't know how to work it for words.

Basically, I need something like =SUM(B1:B50, if "Yes"), but that doesn't fucking work.

I've tried =SUM(B1:B50, "Yes"), =SUM(B1:B50, value="Yes"), and similar things. I feel like I'm close, but just can't crack the bastard.

Right, I've done =count if(B2:B50, "Yes") but got #ERROR!

The exclamation mark is mocking me. There's no call for it. Cunts.
