Faith No More - Just A Man

I probably wouldn't argue it's the best but it still gets me so hyped.

You're wrong. It IS the best.

You Can't Always Get What You Want

They fucked it by having the choir start the song. Had the choir just been in the main bit of the song it would've been great.

This choir of child Serge Gainsbourg impersonators, causing the actual Gainsbourg to weep

I was about to say the same thing - and it also jolted me into remembering Cargo Culte which has a great choir.

Shine A Light.

Video Game Fan 2000

Let it Loose is loads better than both You Can't Always... and Shine A Light

BJBMK2

This Corrosion - Sisters Of Mercy, which I didn't know, until I just looked it up, was a Jim Steinman production. Huh.

Les Fleurs, Minnie Riperton

Also Mr Blue Sky by the ELO. Because of course.

The moment the choir comes in on Decks Dark by Radiohead is the highlight of that album for me. I think it's quite original - it's spooky and swaggery at the same time, and it could have come across as bombastic and overblown but doesn't, it's tastefully integrated.

Hiding All Away - Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds

In fact the choir aren't very far away on all of Abbatoir Blues, and it's ace.

Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day.

There are obviously gazillions of gospel songs with choirs a-singing, this is pretty chunky

Speaking of Gainsbourg, the choir at the end if "Cargo Culte" on Histoire de Melodie Nelson

Also the one on "The Seventh Seal" by Scott Walker.

Well sort of...

inspired by the 1979 Ashes.

Probably not the best, but certainly one of the most curious:
