For Black History Month, there's a twitter poll for best song by a black artist from '68 to '72. There are loads of rounds and each song has a youtube link attached. I'm really looking forward to it, just because I think there will be shitloads of ace records I've never heard. The idea is to listen to all 4 options before voting, not to just automatically go for the one you already like if you don't know the others. I clicked on the first one just and heard this for the first time and it's just so fucking glorious. Rocksteady girl group sound.
