I don't have a long post in me but hopefully in a few days. I just want to say if you want to watch one of the greatest ever martial arts films, maybe the best ever swordplay film, check out this absolute monster.

It's basically a patchwork of mad action sequences, great characters, cool settings and then even madder action sequences. It's got a fantasy element to it with all the ninjas but it's otherwise pretty grounded, just like a load of amazing exciting fights. Soundtrack is also class, really great stuff.

Easy to follow, barely takes a breath but is also coherent, there's a tight enough story. Action, action, action.
