Flying sausage immediately huh. Well that was written on spec as library music in 1975 and was used for Grange Hill from 79 onwards. What a great recording it is too.

He also played with Bowie in 1968 and Shadows 69-70, but that pales in comparison to having written the themes to Countdown and Channel Four News really.

Chicken Man was far too good to be languishing in library archives and of course it went on to be part of a quite charged view of comprehensive school life for millions.  Well deserved.
