Nostalgic about Cavendishes.

Who remembers going to the shops to get Cavendishes of a Saturday? You'd get your pocket money, thrupence and four (a huge amount in them days!), then you'd traipse off to Mr. Umphlow's Newsagents and Tobacco Emporium to fetch your weekly Cavendish. 6d and a shilling it cost, but you'd still have enough left over to go to the pictures, buy a big bag of penny chews, lots of fizzy pop and that week's issue of The Wazzer! incorporating Beanfeast!

Ah such halcyon days. We'll not see there like again! Here here for the Cavendishes!

How can you be nostalgic about something that's still here? They may be the last British piano maker, using a web site I designed 20 years ago, but they're still going strong.
Or not, I don't know or care.
But it looks like they're still going.

Like the Manx Missile.
