Who are the worst and most regular offenders in the Guardian (in terms of TERFing, antisemitism, giving the right an easy time, putting the boot into Corbyn and other prominent Socialists, and general fascist/centrist view parroting?)

A cunt-spotters guide could really be useful.

Gabby Hintoff
Marina Hyde
Jonathan Freedland
Simon Fucking Jenkins
Katy Balls

Pink Gregory

What about whatshername who's husband and children don't know how to clean the house

jobotic

Hyde's the worst because so many people I know, who are decent, think she's just wonderful.

And if you say anything less than worshipful below the line you are instantly deleted.

Helen Piss
Sarah Ditum
Rafael Behr
JONATHAN FUCKING FREEDLAND
Polly Toynbee
George Monbiot
NICK CUNTING COHEN
and just for pudding, Jonathan Jones.

HEY! Helen Piss is the woman I'm going to marry. Oh, Pidd? Oh yeah, arsehole, you're right.

Why is Monbiot on the list? He's alright, innee? Does actual journalistic digging in service to green politics?

Ditum's at the Spectator, because of course she is.

Tells a lot about the Guardian that I didn't know off-hand.

I agree.  Monbiot deserves praise for Double Down, regardless of anything else.

Yes, I enjoy his DDN pieces. His written stuff can be a bit off, but he's only human.

'Jesus and the Mary Chain'. I fucking ask you.

I remember they were referred to thus on TOTP when Some Candy Talking was in the charts, even my dad spotted the mistake.

JaDanketies

Monbiot is the man. also he recognises his privilege

idunnosomename

it's just how all of the stuff he bangs on about means nothing if he doesn't advocate the political regime change that would make it possible.

Durance Vile

He was, but seemed to be in America writing about Trump when we could have done with him over here. Is he even still on the books?

might as well cite dawn foster.

i think owen's intentions are good (genuinely don't believe he has any ulterior motives) but his pandering to the optics left is a weakness. I would've been guilty of this years ago, but he doesn't seem to have learned his lessons

pcsjwgm

I haven't read his stuff in a while, but I remember Aditya Chakrabortty being great.

How do you mean?

two Guardian threads on the goooooo![nb]it's 3 actually is it[/nb] it's a nightmare scenario!

Jockice

Catherine Bennett in the Observer (it's based in the same office). Did an excruciatingly unfunny 'secret diary' (probably my very least favourite form of 'humour' anyway) of David Cameron's wife and now does one of 'Boris' Johnson's bit of stuff. This one only appears very occasionally now but for fuck's sake. It really is utter shit. I'd have been embarrassed to have thought it, let alone written it and had it published.

buttgammon

The ubiquity of Marina Hyde and her 'oh, I'm rather cross with Boris these days as he can be quite a cockwomble' schtick is very annoying, but not many things are as ridiculous or bad as the fact that Stuart Heritage has a job writing for a national newspaper.

Hadley Freeman also deserves a mention for being an ignorant terf.

Oh Peter Bradshaw is such an embarrassingly lazy film reviewer. You want a dry synopsis? You got it :)

bgmnts

Robocop is a film about a man who gets in trouble and his arms and legs get blown up. He dies but then he gets made into a shiny robot policeman. He says "come quietly or there will be trouble".

I liked Robocop because he shoots a big gun and he helps people.

(WELL DONE Peter! I like how you mentioned how you felt about the film. B+)

Sebastian Cobb

I'm coming round to the idea that I'd happily push any guardian columnist off a cliff. If that means someone just about ok gets caught up in it, so be it.

Cuellar

I read Bradshaw's review of the Bowie film and he makes 0 mention of the fact that they weren't allowed to use any of Bowie's music.

sevendaughters

Marina Hyde is an objectively talented writer but her million plus words of withering satire has done precisely nothing to chip at the establishment and done probably quite a bit to embolden it. Would take five Monbiots ahead of her.

That's Neil Breen.
