Oh, apparently Netflix did this deal in 2018? Although it's been in the news recently, it's referenced in this article: https://time.com/5937507/roald-dahl-anti-semitism/

It's two deals - the 2018 one was a licensing deal and this one is to buy the company; from what I've read, this one builds on the earlier one.

From a few things that I've read about Dahl it's been suggested that his personality drastically changed after his head injuries.
