Trying to find a half-remembered blog

It was a blog by someone who, apparently, had been arrested for selling "compilation CDs that are also sold in HMV", which the police said were counterfeit. The thing that made it stick in my mind was that this was explained in the form of weird Bitmoji-style comic strips.

Don't remember any other details other than a) it really wasn't clear what had actually happened despite reams of documentation/weird comics b) they lived in Richmond (the London one, not the American one, which is making it a pain to Google) c) the guy's mother was also arrested.

Did I dream this?
