Even his castmates who worked with him for ten years said they didn't really know Michael Richards, so depending on how candid, honest and well written (or otherwise) this book is, it could be an incredible read, he's an interesting, very intelligent guy. Also potential to disappear up his own new age backside.

The incident that changed his career is obviously going to be used in the marketing of the book, but there should be so much more to it than that. His episode of Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee is a great watch.

Hope he avoids hot tubs for the next few years.

Could be interesting because he's pretty private. Was in Seinfeld, did a racism, became a recluse. Hopefully between those events there are some amusing anecdotes.

Will anybody, ever, in the history of the world, have a better excuse to subtitle their autobiography "Kramer vs Kramer"?

The inevitable book detailing the scrap between the guitarist from MC5 and one of the members of Bongwater?

There is a Half Man Half Biscuit song about getting that the wrong way round.

I've seen post-the incident interviews where he sounds like one of those people who's been over-therapised. I would be interested to read this, with the somewhat selfish caveat that I think his public image of relative anonymity helped to make his performance as Kramer so great, as it made it hard to see anything artificial in it.

The incident gave him a massive knock I think, probably still hasn't really recovered from it, although his career has always been mixed outside of Seinfeld.

He's more reclusive than anonymous, apparently was during the show too, usually didn't socialise with the team after the tapings, but when he's been interviewed he's been quite a composed and serious guy, until he switches on the act or doesn't take the questions seriously. But yeah he doesn't seem as open and easy to talk to in the way that Jason Alexander or Julia LD were, got an intensity going on the whole time.

This is a good short one, he tells well some interesting stuff about his early life, and had four decades of journals to call on for the book so it's hopefully got a nice tailwind behind it.
