The short-lived animated series was kind of OK though (like the critic!)

darby o chill

Glad we cleared this up. The Critic owes nothing to The Simpsons.
What's your fave episode? I like all of them ♡♡♡♡

The Giggling Bean

I used to love it when it was broadcast on Bravo, back in the 90s. I'm not sure how well its aged though. I watched an episode about 2 years ago and it barely raised a smile. That said, there's jokes in there that I still remember fondly after all these years (Orson Welles Pea commercial). One of my favourite jokes was his dad saying...

"I liked it when you chased that bird over the edge of the cliff"

to which his wife replies "No dear, that was the Roadrunner".

Finished with Jay saying dejectedly, "No, that was me".

Always made me laugh.

I like Jon Lovitz and he did make that character very likable and Charles Napier was great as his boss.

I might throw a couple of episodes on again just to give it another chance.
