The first album has no songs with verse/chorus structures, but remains relatively accessible and catchy (Turner put some great melodies to Cameron Dean's chords, to be fair), which is something I've always enjoyed about it. It's just unfortunate that it's full of Turner's lyrics about how the BFG and Enid Blyton are dangers to society rather than, y'know, his own fucking family.
