No, that wouldn't be vegan. So he's quid's in!

Aye, true.  Just the bollock kicking then.

Personally I like Quorn Ham slices for sandwiches. Costs an absolute fucking fortune (£2 for like 10 slices) but nice as an occasional treat.

£2 for 10 slices is hardly an absolute fortune... is it? (Not tryin' to be flash)

Thank you for the above. I’m away from the keyboard so I won’t address everything you wrote but the streaming point is a very good one.

Or pictured on the drinking bottles of the dragons in Dragon’s Den.  Never shown in close-up or anything, no attention drawn to it in any way.

Just be prepared for a couple weeks of trying a wide array of the fake-meat variants on offer so you can find out which ones are ace and which ones are shit. Everyone seems to have a different answer as to which these are.

Quorn mince: shite
Quorn fillets: alright
Quorn fish fingers: fine
Quorn sausages: fine, but not as good as Linda McCartney's
Quorn nuggets: good
Quorn pieces: great bunch of lads
Quorn southern fried bites: top class

It’s not really Glitter’s art/music though - he was the front. Mike Leander was the driving force, both in terms of creating Glitter as a star and the formulation of The Glitter Band (which started as Glitter’s band and split off as an separate entity). The latter also deserve a lot of credit, particularly John Rossall, whose recent album, The Last Glam in Town, is rather good (and features contributions by Rob and Fliss from The Nightingales). Although Gadd/Glitter is credited on song-writing credits, it’s genuinely believed that his input was minimal to zero.

This article is worth a look: https://thequietus.com/articles/00709-rock-roll-part-3-stepping-out-of-gary-glitter-s-shadow

This track by the Glitter Band is awesome, IMO.

It's an absolute piece of piss nowadays. It was still pretty cheap and easy when I took the plunge years ago, but nowadays there's so many alternatives out there that you'll barely notice the change.

Can't imagine the pain of sewing your own lips shut. He must be very committed.

It must be quite hard to sew your own lips shut as well.

I think it's do-able. I'm sitting here making a few tentative prods at my upper-lip with a cocktail stick, and it's not that bad.

If you eat fish you're not even a vegetarian. That's the easy one!

they'd probably publicly hang you.
