[Dirty Boy]

Has a new record out called FIBS and it's sprightly and bouncy and batshit complex in equal measure. It's one of the best things i've heard this year and it's the kind of 'pop' music i can get on board with ie: restless and wonky as fuck.

She started out as a contemporary classical composer, but her more recent work has more of an electronic (albeit still multi-genred) angle.

I'm just getting to grips with the orchestral stuff, but i was highly impressed by Five Telegrams when i caught it on't Proms - 25 minutes long, but worth sticking with.

Haha, me too - going through a massive Gasman phase as we speak. The wife and child are away for the weekend in a couple of weeks and I fully plan on devoting it entirely to The Gasman because I still feel like I've barely scratched the surface...

It's an interesting idea, but thus far i'm not really feeling the new Meredith. Think i prefer the longer more orchestrated pieces.

The Gasman however, can do little wrong whether he's doing cheapo rave/video game nostalgia/Neo-Classical or a combination of all of the above. He's remarkably consistent.
