yeah miu is adorable. and she only has half her right ear cos we found her when she was a baby and she was a bit ill. it makes her even cuter! hehe

maybe if youre a big strong bloke. to a small skinny girl like me theyre just horrible heavy, hard to hold boxes. theyre loud as well. and they always pinched my finger when i had to put the film in.
and they had that fucking wind-on handle which kept escaping my hand, and they would only run for 20 seconds.
and their viewfinder is dead dark and you cant see shit through it. and you have to keep your face firmly on it or otherwise the light goes onto the film from the viewfinder.

okay, there are bolex cameras with motors. but we didnt have them at uni. oh god i hated bolex.

i always used arriflex. it had a nicer handle, a brighter viewfinder and i didnt have to plaster my face onto it, and it was better weight-ballanced, even with a heavy lens on it didnt want to fall on its nose...

Hehe a mate of a mate showed us a fake Rolex he'd bought on holiday, it looked and felt just about as genuine as a cheap fake is going to but it had "Bolex" written on it...
