Someone on here mentioned this in their best of last year so I checked it out (as a fan of The Divine Comedy and ergo also of The Duckworth Lewis Method) and glad I did, it is a pip-and-a-dandy of a baroque pop album.

It's so good in fact that my missus said "that's quite good, for something you like" so there you go.

Oddly I never really clicked with Pugwash despite that essentially being Thomas Walsh himself so, will need to revisit.

Used to post here didn't he, he was in with a lot of comedians IIRC.

Anyhow, what a great album.

I saw him at the West Hamstead Arts Centre last year. Kevin Eldon was there and was invited onto the stage and did his George Martin to the delight of the crowd. Paul Putner was also in attendence.
