New documentary film about a dairy cow by Andrea Arnold.

Saw this at the cinema but will surely be on mubi soon enough as they are distributing it.

Very intense and visceral film (you're basically watching animals being abused for 1hr 30 minutes). I found it an extremely tough watch (especially the horrible cow mouth noises throughout) but would still highly recommend it.

I came home from the cinema and cooked something vegetarian.

That's probably what will happen.

Most people know everything by now, they'll watch this and go oh no that's sad and then go home and smash some milk and a big burger.

Surprised stuff like this is still made.

Who does the voice of the cow? Is it Benedict Cumberbatch?

James Corden does the voice, Andy Serkis is inside the cow moving it about.

I thought they didn't have animals at the Serkis anymore.
