not really, but it pisses me off.

i'm going to europe on july 1st for 2 months and then to new zealand and i wanted to get a working visa for then. but i've left it a little late and so rang today to ask if they could possibly prioritize it so i got my passport back in time for going to europe.

and they said no.

despite the fact that it took less than two weeks for my girlfriend to get ehrs and another friend called last year and got his bumped to the top of the stack.

but not really their fault i guess, they must be busy.

yeah i guess it's just a case of risking deportation by working illegally here and there, or living off my girlfriend's fruit picking wages. so far she's resisting my suggestions that she go on the game.
