Avatar issues

I used to have an avatar on here and also used to be able to change it if I wanted but tried to do a new one recently and my abilities have fucked off and won't come back.

Please advise.

I think I was using imgur and copy and pasting into the correct box.

I couldn't explain why but imgur stopped working for me, so I uploaded my avatar to https://i.postimg.cc/ and put the second option (the direct link) on the Forum Profile page and that works okay.

with imgur it has to be a jpg for some reason. pngs stopped working. why? computers are shite.
