Does anyone have an opinion on these fellers? Their debut album was one of my favourites of last year, and their version of Total Eclipse of the Heart (it's on their myspace) is up there with the best punk covers.  They're everything Towers of London etc. wish they were; stripped down punk with a bit of wit and knowingness.  Plus they have a song making fun of Nick Griffin that is in equal parts catchy and wry by jd salinger.

edited to add: I just looked at their myspace description:
QuoteDustin's Bar Mitzvah are three brothers: Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb; three outstanding songwriters, singers, producers and musicians. In the music business for over 40 years and with world-wide record sales exceeding 180 million, they are in the top five of the most successful recording artists of all time...
heh.

I think they're ace, but then I'm biased...

I really like that, actually. It seems like it should be crap in theory, but all of those songs are really fun, especially Catholic Boys. I'll be getting that album, cheers!

They're headlining The Borderline April 12th.

See you there...?
