He ate his coat too. And his stupid hat.

New page can't stand him now. Or then.

Glancing at the picture of him with Theroux on iPlayer, I thought fuck, that Mike Bubbins has let himself go.

The Theroux interview programme was pretty boring and pointless, wasn't it? Why is Louis slumming it interviewing these lame people for BBC1?

I bet his mice didn't last long

That's hitting your 40s for you. And giving up heroin.

The only bit I found intriguing was the bit with Carl. I couldn't weigh up if he was coked off his head or if he was just really emotional, or just naturally social awkward. He was acting like a nervous primary school kid.

There was a strange dynamic at play where it felt like Pete (who you'd assume was the unstable one) was treating him like he was his handler.

Barely interested in the Libertines at all btw, it just captured my attention.

Also, Louis comes across like a bit of an odd guy these days. Not in that wry, ironic way he crafted in his early career - just a bit posh and unrelatable.

definitely still like him but I get the vibe that his national treasure status has gone to his head a little

These two must have saved a small fortune on bog paper, as judging by the state of their finger nails they would just feverishly claw at their sphincters until the winnets were dispatched.

He had manky fingernails in the Theroux doc as well. I bet he stinks of shit.

Gotta say I was quite into the libertines when up the bracket came out, I was 16 first year of college studying music tech and properly started drinking with all my new music mates...had some great nights listening to them. I found the Theroux documentary very weird, almost as if he was trying his hardest to stay away from any responsibility from his early adulthood, then the whole bit where he said he was dying was ridiculous.
