They're stood at the doorway in a way that's like they were walking past and saw you and stopped

They're looking at you with a completely blank emotionless expression

Five seconds or so passes, nearly ten

They slowly turn in the direction they were going and walk away in silence


Doesn't feel very nice does it? They didn't convey it but you feel like they were dismayed or disappointed with you for some unknown reason. They looked almost alien to you somehow, the same person physically but something wasn't right. You were still in the weird haze of waking up but you still felt it. As far as you know, you didn't do anything wrong. You weren't even sleeping in late. Everything was fine last night.
