Anyone know much about this? Seems to be taking place in bitesize fragments on a grandly low-key scale. I'm intending to go tomorrow to this particular 'branch' -
Quote
Tommy's Bar, UWIC, Cardiff (Sat 15th Nov)
7pm - 8.00pm The Boy Least Likely To
6pm - 6.45pm Aidan Smith
5.15pm - 5.45pm Connan Moackasin
4.30pm - 5pm It Hugs Back
3.45pm - 4.15pm Little My
3pm - 3.30pm The New Tea Party

It's largely the twinkly folky twee nonsense of people who are probably absolute dogshit to talk to, but I love it, and I've wanted to see Aidan Smith and Boy Least Likely To for ages.

Is anyone else wanting to go? Has anyone been to this festival before and is it usually well-attended? If you want to go to this particular one tomorrow and meet up let me know.

i was vaguely tempted to go to the sunday one because dananananaykroyd are playing but a coach trip to cardiff makes me feel ill just thinking about it.

ffogems

It's 2 hours on a train from Paddington.

Cack Hen

yeah but i don't have my young persons railcard yet. without that the cost is in-sane.

ffogems

Ah. Mine came through last week. It's now called a 16-25 card I think, and allows reduced single fares too.

This thread is thriving.
