Footage of Chris Morris playing with his band!

I've lurked on this forum for years and benefited immeasurably from everyone's reporting and comments. I'm sorry if this has been posted before, but I can't believe I found live footage of Chris Morris performing with the Exploding Hamsters. As if this isn't bizarre enough already, he's actually a really good bassist!

Wow, thanks for this! Photo in the Disgusting Bliss book, of course.

Shaky

Fucking hell, what a great find! Thanks, OP. Very, very odd seeing Morris perform in a band you'd expect to see on Pepple Mill or similar.

Ballad of Ballard Berkley

Incredible scenes! Thank you so much for sharing that, Benjamin.

Excellent. Those of us who attended the release of the book No Known Cure in 2013 were treated to this footage. I'm glad it's available for the world.

Ah, that's where I saw it before

So glad it was appreciated! It's interesting how Morris made the transition from music like this to all the weird trance/trip-hop in 'Blue Jam'. I wonder what he thinks about this now...hahaha

Inspired by your video find, i did a quick google search and managed to find these songs from the exploding hamsters on youtube:
May be old hat, but i'd never heard them and perhaps some others haven't either...  Great find Benjamin!

(Edit: meant to link to the channel, but failed, so putting up links to individual tracks instead)

Great find benjamin.reichman. Morris is an excellent bassist.

^ My sentiments exactly. Terrible song and band name, but a little treasure all the same. What a guy.

Haha fantastic stuff I was looking to see if this was online anywhere the other week after another flick through disgusting bliss . can't tell if it's what I expected or not!

paddy72

Good lord. You'd be hard pushed to find a whiter piece of music than that.

Great find.

Nah, it's pure mid-80's midday TV chat show fodder. Like some sort of edgier Black Lace.

No way!
This is what the internet is for.
Am surprised to see him wearing the least loud shirt.

Weird song, visually shite Pebble Mill dreck but musically it sounds uncannily like c86 stalwarts Hurrah! or Mighty Mighty

Crikey!

Chris' leering grin, is that the most infectious expression or what.
