Good (free) simple video editing software

On my old laptop I was using Windows Movie Maker which pretty much did the jobs I needed. It was still available for download until recently, but now Microsoft have now pulled it completely. I can probably find it somewhere but are there any other free, easy-to-use video editing tools out there for a PC?
