Anyone else seen this? I thought it was great.

Udo Kier plays an old gay ex-hair dresser/drag queen ("the Liberace of Hair Dressing") in a nursing home,he's fed up and waiting for death. A lawyer turns up and tells him he's been nominated to do the hair of a recently deceased socialite for her funeral. So he escapes and goes on journey to do it.

It's obviously quite sentimental and we learn about his life along the way, it's a lot like The Straight Story or Harry Dean Stanton's actual Swan Song, Lucky.

I thought it was great. Funny, sentimental, progressive etc.

yes this was brilliant, just so light and touching - kier delivered a stupendous performance, and so many funny and poignant moments

Yes, saw this last week. Wonderful little film. Particularly loved the scene where he gets the suit.
