Rise of the Ronin - Team Ninja [split topic]

Rise of the Ronin is Team Ninja's latest game, published by Playstation Studios.

An open world action RPG set during the end of the Tokugawa shogunate. The first boss is Matthew C. Perry who is chomping a cigar and has a move where he kicks you in the air and unloads a bunch of revolver shots into you. Plays like Nioh/Wo Long but much more forgiving. It's had fairly tepid reviews, and it is very gamey (why would my secret ninja clan have a bonfire in a US naval officer's ship?), but so far it has some charm.

Absolutely no way will it surpass Ghost of Tsushima, but it's a completely different period, and I think it's just trying to be dumb fun.
