Lake district camping spots?

So I'm thinking of getting away for a day or two to the Lake district for a bit of solitude and a bit of a hike. Was just wondering if any of you people could suggest a decent spot or two. I've stayed at Windermere, around Ullswater and brothers water a few times, but considering somewhere different. Preferably somewhere with a nice view, not too built up and not too remote.

I'm considering camping as it's often cheaper, but if you can suggest a cheap B+B that'd be great.
