Fair point, and perhaps the exception to the rule.

But then bullies laugh at others because of their own insecurities, right?  All self-defence mechanisms designed to embrace their own difficulties with life.  If bad people use humour in a bad way then isn't that merely an extension of their own villainy?

For 'Skeletor' (its who you made me think of), his evil laugh makes him appear more cruel and more dangerous.  Which is what he wants.  

I suppose I see it in terms of there being a positive intent behind every action, no matter whereth drift the moral compass.
