Soho, in the early '60s, was exotic, crooked and late to bed, so Peter Cook opened The Establishment there. It was London's first satirical club and was called The Establishment because everyone wants to be a member. And they were.

But this is the true story of the gangsters who closed it down. Presented by Peter Cook's biographer Harry Thompson, with contributions from John Fortune, Wendy Cook, George Melly and Roger Law.
