Just whack the single version of "Girls And Boys" on there and then get rid of..."Clover Over Dover". Problem solved.

Even more absurd is the fact that they've suddently just decided to add another tenner to the price for a laugh.  Saw it in in there with my own eyes the other day and emitted a fairly loud "Ffffffuckooooofffffff" when I clocked the price. 
Sixty quid.  Ludicrous.

Also, "Parklife" was released as one album in the 90s. Now it's a double album.

It was made (as a lot of 90s albums were) for the CD and don't make sense on vinyl with side one and side two flows.

It was remastered and rereleased as a 'limited edition' double album in 2012 (along with their other albums) for the 21st anniversary of the band's debut release, which was then repressed in 2015 for the album's 21st anniversary in two 'limited editions' - one in black vinyl and one in translucent yellow vinyl (3000 copies). It was then repressed for a third 'limited' run in 2018.

The pricing on the HMV site appears to be capitalizing on it's currently out-of-print status. You can still buy new, sealed copies of the 2012/2015/2018 black vinyl releases elsewhere for a lot less than what HMV are charging.

The orignal 1994 single LP release was mastered at Townhouse using the DMM (Direct Metal Mastering) process, which skipped the initial acetate stage and produced copper foil master plates, cutting out two of the plating stages required to make a stamper. This could produce very fine, shallow grooves that allowed more tracks to be squeezed in per side with little to no loss of fidelity and with a lower noise floor, but inevitably required reduced volume at the mastering stage. The LP was mastered from the digital CD master tape though, so was not ideally equalized for the vinyl format.
