Could I ask for any recommendations for a mini hi-fi system? My budget is definitely less than £300 and I've been looking at the Denon DM39 but I'm wondering if there's something even cheaper that will deliver similar results.

Really, well the last time I bought technology was around 1998 so I wouldn't know! But what are children listening to Hip Hop on these days? I didn't intend on buying an ipad to listen to music on. Do people not buy stand-alone musical devices any more? Mm, now I'm confused.
