If the studio tasks are being filmed in May would that mean they've been filming the house tasks recently?

The Socially Distant Sports Bar podcast have put out two best of's in the last two weeks so that could mean that it's either of Elis James or Mike Bubbins could be a contestant? Bubbins has said previously  that he'd be the Taskmaster but not a contestant but he's got a mortgage to pay and a new TV series to promote.

EDIT- Apparently Elis is in Wales so it might be family related rather than this.

SirDoris

Seen some people speculating that Tom Allen doesn't have any tour dates in mid-May. Would be completely unsurprised if he turns up as well, both him and Suzi Ruffell feel like the type who could have been on Taskmaster from the start.

Not necessarily - s17 taped their studio records in September and Steve Pemberton said he was doing his tasks while rehearsing Pillowman which ran from June.  So there'd probably need to be a gap of about 2 months.

Twilkes

S19 tasks just started filming at the house apparently.

Captain Z

Gotta hope some young whippersnapper wins the next Champion of Champions so that we could feasibly be on for a Champion of Champion of Champion of Champions in 2077.

bigfatheart

Nah, we all know how that'll go:

God I hope not. One of the few people whose presence would prevent me from watching.

The Lurker

Genuinely surprised Tom hasn't been on already

dontpaintyourteeth

He's been too busy being on absolutely everything else

Dan Skinner / Angelos Epithemiou just cancelled a string of gigs up our way to 'do a play' so the timing could be interesting.

Fake edit: having checked this it does look like he is in a play from May til June so probably not all that interesting after all.

But to avoid detection you were born in the 80s and are quite short

lankyguy95

I don't know if we have any forum rules on spilling the names, initials, or hints.

Snrub

Usually we've had full names behind spoiler tags I think? Not the expert though

No, it's happened here before.  Last season the names were  posted, but I recall a previous season someone just posted hints.
