Hi all! First post here, but in case you're interested, I've just spent the last year and a half putting together an official (and entirely free) record of Oxford and Oxford-associated comedy from the past 70 years -

www.oxfordcomedyarchive.com [accessible only in UK - global licensing is expensive]

The Oxford Comedy Archive includes the earliest comedy recordings of Dudley Moore and Michael Palin, the 1978 sketch (written by Richard Curtis as a student) which was a direct prototype for Blackadder, lost 1979 tapes of Rowan Atkinson performing in the Oxford Playhouse, an entire 1989 Stewart Lee routine and much more! There's also 11+ hours of exclusive audio interviews with various people, including Atkinson and Palin, along with written articles detailing each time interval of interest.

I'm not really one for web design (the Archive is designed for desktop) but I hope folks enjoy! I'm getting no money out of this endeavour, but as far as I know, no one has written and assembled a proper history of Oxford comedy before, so I figured that I might as well do it.

Fantastic work on this - have been enjoying the pretty terrible early Lee/Herring material.
