I was listening to 'Spies' by Coldplay yesterday, and at about 1:17 when the drums kick in for the chorus, I started singing Baldrick's poem 'The German Guns' (including Blackadder's contribution) in time with the beat.

Then in the outro from about 4:16, I thought about punctuating the "they're just spies" refrain with samples of Captain Darling yelling "I'M NOT A GERMAN SPY", to bring it all together.

Sounds good in my head.
