Very sad, watched that movie again this week strangley enough.  Couldn't believe how much I laughed at the sequence where Bluto is stuffing all the food in his mouth and trousers.  Great soundtrack too, classic movie, and John Vernon is very funny in it. RIP.

Yes...Great film. He was fantastic in Animal House and was always on TV in the 70s and 80s.
