It's because if you wish to edit (or remove) a post yourself, you can't leave the text field entirely empty or it fuckin glitches out or the gremlins get to it or somethin I dunno. Same happens when ordering medication on the app I use - I'm not sure if they're expecting me to plead for drugs or maybe write them a little poem but all they ever get from me is .

sorry friends i got a bit edgy about the sort of pouring my heart out super personal posts on the subject. short version is dad had a heart attack. he's alright now, got a stent and that. but just obviously a very unexpected and frightening thing to happen. got through it okay, paramedics arrived in 10 mins max, absolutely wonderful people. he's in hospital now, the poor sod. anyway yes sorry.
