Funnily enough this is the exact opposite of them not doing that.  Reverse World kicks up some wild shit.

In Reverse World, nobody plays any musical instruments whatsoever.  People fill their mouths with compost to grow the opposite of their teeth more slowly.  There are no compasses, and they always point south.
