It's boiling now. I usually throw on a bit of honey, mustard and cloves and bake in the oven.

Anyone got any personal favourites flavouring-wise?

mook

marmalade. if you don't use marmalade that pig might as well have been raised in the middle east.

Update.

I emptied out about half of the water and replaced it with 2 litres of Cocacola.

It seems happy enough.

Pig's emotional and intellectual development is roughly equivelent of a 3-4 year old human child, so you're basically discussing how to cook and eat this:

Looks like a tiny post-apocalyptic wasteland.

I'm glad to see there will not be a willy in the pot.  Disgusting, filthy appendages.

I hadn't thought of that. I won't eat any more ham. Thanks for the info.

biggytitbo

Having said that, I bet he's tasty-

I wouldn't eat him though, I'd probably have an adventure with him...maybe solve a crime.

mook

cor... be nice spatchcocked that.

I think that every time somebody posts a photo of a pig we should each guess how long ago it died.

I reckon the one that biggy posted died around June last year.

The one below, approximately 112 years ago.

biggytitbo

Wrong, my little piggy is still alive. I saw him on the bus yesterday.

Is he still shit at solving crime?

EDIT: The Empress of Blandings is IMMORTAL:

biggytitbo

He was solving a crime on the bus.

It was clearly the scum in the baseball cap. Although I don't trust the banker two windows along either.

Good luck to the lad.

A cow as the conductor? That's fucking ludicrous. Also the bus driver should look at the road when he's driving, he's going to cause a terrible accident waving out the window like that.

That bus just lacks any basic credibility due to these errors.

Nobody Soup

why aren't there any real papers called "the human times"?

Consignia

There is "The People", it's probably the equivalent.

Depressed Beyond Tables

The Piggy Times is owned by Porcine PLC.

Because only humans read papers. Here there is clearly biological apartheid, where a number of advanced species have their own journalism.

I have never cooked ham or pork. Only bacon. It's astounding to me that one creature should have 3 different animals contained within.

The Masked Unit

What a fucking animal, from a meat consumption perspective.
