The upcoming war with France

Several newspapers have reported today that we appear to be in a 'war of words' with France.

All wars start with 'words' so we might as well look ahead a couple of weeks and ponder how the actual war will play out.

Assuming it doesn't go nuclear, I think the French might win this time because they are thinner than us and we can't rely on the USA to turn up at the last minute and save our sorry asses like they did in WWII.

Qu'en pensez-vous?

It's been long predicted:

Ah, humorous francophobia. This country's comedic small change.

I'd prefer a war of words with France to the actual war with Iran that seems to be looming on the horizon.

Perfect time to put jeux sans frontieres into action.  Reverse tug of war.  Each country needs to select an inflatable figure that best represents the nation then use the army to try and push it through the channel tunnel.  If a blow-up Eric Morecambe emerges at Calais we win, if I don't know, Gerard Depardieu pops up in Dover then they win.

We'd better re-open that white flag factory and export them some white flags, they'll be needing them.

And a good job the channel tunnel is downhill, they can divert some sewage pipes to it!
