Saw this on Mubi the other day.  Had no idea what it was about other than it was in the site's Murder and Mystery section.

It's a good film, with a strong element of social satire which is actually pretty cutting.  Its seemingly haphazard and informal style is very effective too. The main narrative is rather old hat but it is done with great skill, and ingenious use of modern technology which has a superb pay-off at the end.

BUT any potential viewer needs to know that this is by far the most sexually explicit non-porn film I have ever seen, and it is all gay sex.  It's as if all the notorious footage cut out of Cruising has been found and either interpolated or re-staged.  And even before you get to all the shagging (and sucking and pegging) the film puts down a marker in the first minute with a shot of someone having an actual dump.

But, forewarned as you are, I would say it is definitely worth a look.

Also saw this on Mubi. I loved Catalina Saavedra's performance as Vero, the housekeeper.

Plenty of the sex and the drugs in this for those that like that sort of thing.

It was my, uh let's see... 54th most liked new film of 2023 (out of 76). I thought the second half was fun, but it took far too long to get there. Second the love for Catalina Saavedra though.

Apparently the director wanted to get Michael Cera on board for the part that went to the influencer guy, but Cera balled at how graphic it was, and... yeah, fair enough really.

I thought the housekeeper was the worst thing in this actually. The influencer guy was insanely punchable but it worked for the film. Take the bumming out and this film isn't that great, though I liked parts of it.
