RIP Top comedy actress Denise Coffey, star of proto- Python show " Do Not Adjust Your Set", Python plagiarizing show " End Of Part One" and Python influenced comic Alexei Sayle's " Merry Go Round" ( in which she played Bobby Chariot's manager). I'll give it to you Straight, man * : she's passed away at the age of 85. Feel as saddened by this as all them Foo Fighters fans felt yesterday. ( * she played the role of Vera Straightman in " End Of Part One", you see.)

I recently bought the three disc DVD of Do Not Adjust Your Set, very lively performances.  She's been in good stuff on the radio.  Sad to find out that she's passed away.
