The Brendan Schaub IMDB Challenge is the new craze taking TikTok by storm. The aim is to find something, anything, with a worse rating on IMDB.

For context, the worst rated movie I could locate was Disaster Movie (2008) at a relatively respectable 2.1. Battlefield Earth (2000) earns a whopping 2.6.

First person to find something with a lower score than The Gringo Papi wins a Mexican cookie.

this seems less remarkable when you can sort all titles by user rating or even go and do an advanced search capping the score at 1.0

doing the latter and sorting by number of votes gives you e.g. a biopic about Erdogan

I think it is a "fun" game of trying to think of things that might have a worse rating, rather than a statistical trawl
