As I understand it, the law for at-home medical abortions (pills by post, without seeing a medical professional in person) is ten weeks (according to the May 2020 Sun article that's linked to in that Guardian piece anyway), but you're right that it's 24 weeks in general.

Given that I imagine some people who'd make use of that postal service might be doing so as they're in abusive relationships, it seems especially punitive, although as mentioned there might well also be legitimate medical reasons for having a shorter limit on at-home procedures, I dunno. It would also be great if there was an easy way of finding this shit out.
