Hirokazu Kore-eda is director and Ryuichi Sakamoto responsible for the music.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Premise is a single mother is trying her best with her son who is is deeply unhappy due to the loss of his deceased father and is also dealing with a bullying teacher and has a messy friendship with a kid who is a target for classroom bullies.

I had more typed out but realized despite trying to be vague it does somewhat spoiler the film so will just say it's excellent.

Yep, really loved this one. Big Kore-eda fan in general and I think this may be their best yet.

Kore-eda has made some of my favourite 21stC films - I think I have seen everything he has done apart from some early TV docs.

This was a lovely, subtle story about children with some surprising moments.

Ah good, I was on the fence about going to see this one but as I'm off work this week I'll take a trip out to see it.
